2014 – Medium: OIL ON GESSOED WOOD PANEL- 51 x 32 cm
The world is a stage where man plays a major role in the balance of life. For millennia animals have supported man with their labour, blood and bones. For millennia man has considered himself as a separate and superior entity with the right to carry out the crudest forms of exploitation of the other creatures on earth.
In fact between the human and the animal world runs a very fine borderline. Animals feel pain, frustration, fear, and the betrayal of trust just as men do. With the rising awareness that all creation is an interwoven chain of relationships that links all forms of life, man can recover a sense of justice, respect and compassion towards all that surrounds him.
