Biography. (Page 2 of 2)
The discussion on Art is not exclusively confined to an analysis of techniques, materials and experiments, but it is also about a journey that is inner and personal. I speak of Art, not as a field accessible to a selected few, but as part of everyone’s life. In my view, we are creative, not because we have deliberately chosen to be so, but because it is part of our nature; in addition creativity is inherent to everyone’s existence. My idea is that Art should be intended as a way of life, as a means to refine our understanding of beauty, to deepen our capacity of enjoyment and to refine our senses.
Art can be part of our life as waters from different tributaries flow into the same river. In this way both our inner experiences and outer perceptions meet and develop harmoniously. A work of Art has the power to shape and to reveal the way to transcends the limitations of our senses. Nothing is capable of moving and expanding my spirit as the expanse of water immersed in the silence and light of the Venetian Lagoon, collected in an embrace between the man land and its islands.
